Onitsha Metropolitan Residents Forum, a group comprising of indigenes and non indigenes of Onitsha North and South local government areas, had their first annual meeting on Sunday, when it hosted the Senator representing Anambra North, Senator Stella Oduah.
The event was held at the Sharon Hall GRA Onitsha.
Onitsha residents came enmasse to witness the first official outing of the year by the forum.
Senator Oduah used the opportunity to fraternize with members of the forum and seek their supports, in the forth coming general elections in February.
The Senator outlined her achievements so far, and what she intends to do for the residents, when she returns as a high ranking senator to the Senate.
There were applauses from the crowd who whole heatedly accepted to support her aspiration.
