Plateau State lawmakers have elected a member the representing Pankshin North, Gabriel Dawang and Hon Timothy Dantong, representing Riyom constituency as speaker and deputy speaker respectively.
The duo replaced Hon Moses Thomas Sule and Honourable Gwottaon who resigned their positions with immediate effect.
Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon Moses Thomas Sule and his deputy, Hon Gwottaon have resigned their positions.
Although the details of the resignations are still sketchy as at press time, the development may not be unconnected to the political instability in the state.
