Lagos Base Club Side Signs Two Brazilian Players; Unveil Players Later In The Week

A newly formed Lagos -based club,1472 Football Club, campaigning in the Nigerian National League (NNL )have confirmed  the signing of two Brazilian players -Wellington, a midfielder and Saulo, a centre-back.

They become the first club in the division to sign players from Brazil;

The players will be unveiled to the club’s supporters later in the week.

The club is making their maiden appearance in the Nigeria National League, NNL.

1472 kick-started their NNL campaign with a 2-2 away draw against Dakkada at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, on Sunday.

Solomon Alade scored the club’s inaugural league goal against the Uyo- based club.

1472 next opponents are Rovers in a match day two fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, this coming weekend.
