Portable Cries Foul After Boxing Defeat, Demands Fair Judgment and Earnings

Controversial singer Portable has reacted angrily to his defeat in a celebrity boxing clash, insisting the outcome did not reflect what happened in the ring.

The street-hop artist lost his title to comedian and content creator Carter Efe after judges scored the bout unanimously in favour of his opponent.

However, speaking shortly after the fight, Portable claimed the contest was unfair, arguing that many of his punches were ignored during scoring.

He also alleged that his opponent relied on physical advantages like height and reach, which he believes were not properly managed by organisers.

According to him, the fight included excessive grappling, which he described as outside standard boxing conduct, further questioning the officiating.

The bout, held at the Chaos in the Ring event in Lagos, ended his unbeaten run in celebrity boxing, where he had previously defeated other entertainers to claim belts.

Despite the loss, Portable shifted attention to a personal milestone, revealing that he welcomed a baby boy on the same day as the fight.

He said the birth of his child meant more to him than retaining any title, even as he continued to express frustration over the result.

The singer also demanded payment reportedly tied to streaming revenue from the event, warning organisers to settle outstanding earnings.

Meanwhile, Carter Efe maintained control throughout the fight, using his reach advantage to outscore Portable across all three rounds.

The outcome has sparked reactions online, with fans debating both the judging and the performance of the fighters.

With tensions still high, the clash has added fresh drama to Nigeria’s growing celebrity boxing scene, leaving open the possibility of a rematch in the future.
