The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and its technical partner, PUMA, have revealed a special edition of the official match ball to be used in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 final in Morocco.

Hosts Morocco will take on Senegal in Sunday’s final at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah, with kick-off set for 8:00pm local time, as both teams battle for the continental title.

The commemorative ball is a customised version of the tournament’s official match ball, ITRI, designed specially for the final. It features elegant gold accents in recognition of the two finalists and the prestige of the occasion.

The ball’s design draws inspiration from Morocco’s rich cultural heritage, with patterns influenced by traditional zellij artwork, including star shapes, floral outlines and circular symmetry.

Built using PUMA’s Orbita 6 technology, the special ball blends modern performance standards with African-inspired aesthetics, ensuring top-level quality while celebrating the culture of the host nation.
