Full List Of Relegated European Clubs

By Ranti Thomas

Several clubs across Europe’s top football leagues have officially been relegated after finishing in the bottom positions at the end of the 2025/2026 season.

In the English Premier League, Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and Southampton were relegated after failing to gather enough points to survive in the top flight. Leicester’s drop attracted major attention because the club won the Premier League title less than a decade ago.

Spain’s La Liga also saw Real Valladolid, Las Palmas, and Leganes relegated following difficult campaigns marked by poor form and inconsistent performances throughout the season.

In Italy’s Serie A, Monza, Venezia, and Empoli were confirmed among the clubs moving down to the second division after struggling against stronger opposition.

Germany’s Bundesliga recorded the relegation of Bochum and Holstein Kiel after both clubs failed to escape the danger zone before the end of the season.

French clubs Montpellier and Saint-Etienne were also relegated from Ligue 1, with Saint-Etienne’s fall standing out because of the club’s long history and success in French football.

Below is the full list of relegated clubs across Europe’s top five leagues:
