The ruling Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Edo State has swept all 18 Local Government Areas in the state local government election held on Saturday.
In the results released by the state independent electoral commission showed that PDP cleared the votes in all the local government areas in the State.
Apart from the PDP, other major political parties that participated in the election for Chairmanship and Councillorship of all the wards include the Labour Party, LP, and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
At the time of filing this report, the APC and the LP are yet to issue an official statement on landslide victory of the ruling party in the state.
