After meeting VP Shettima, Minister Lokpobiri explains hike in petrol price

At the instance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, met with the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri; Group Managing Director (GMD) of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari; and Executive Director, Distribution Systems, Storage, and Retailing Infrastructure, Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Ogbugo Kalu Ukoha, at the Presidential Villa today over the current petrol supply challenges.

At NNPC retail stations, petrol now sell for between N855 and N897 per litre, depending on the location, from the previous N568-N617.
