Former senator representing Cross River Central  at the National Assembly, John Owan Enoh has again lost his bid to claim the Cross River  All Progressives Congress  (APC)  gubernatorial  ticket.

This follows the dismissal of the appeal he filed at the Federal Court of Appeal Calabar against the ruling of the Federal High Court also in Calabar.

In Suit No:CA/C/337/2022 between Senator John Owan Enoh vs Senator Bassey Edet Otu,  the court demised the case for lack of merit.

Chairman of the Appeal Court  panel in company of two others judge, Hon. Justice J. O. Bada, dismissed the case in  favour of Senator Edet Bassey Otu for lack of merit, saying Otu is  authentic  Cross River State APC Governorship candidate.

The panel stated that the third respondent, Senator  Bassey Edet Otu was fully cleared, stressing that the mandate given to him by the APC National Working Committee and the lower court was genuine. Earlier, the Federal High Court presided over by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu dismissed Senator Enoh’s case and upheld the election of Senator Bassey Otu as the authentic candidate of the APC
