Aisha Buhari withdraws case against Aminu Adamu  who said she‘ate poor people’s money’

The First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, on Friday withdrew the case against Aminu Adamu, a 500-level student of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State.

Recall that Adamu was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) over his statement on the First Lady’s weight.

He was subsequently charged to court and currently remanded at Suleja Correctional Centre, Niger State.

According to the Prosecution Counsel, Fidelis Ogbobe, on Friday, the First Lady decided to withdraw the case due to the intervention of Nigerians.

Justice Halilu Yusuf of the FCT High Court, commended Aisha Buhari for being courageous and bold to forgive Adamu.

Justice Halilu issued the release warrant of Aminu, urging parents to also monitor the activities of their children well.
