Arsenal are keen to continue improving their midfield department after signing Kai Havertz and Declan Rice from Chelsea and West Ham respectively.

According to Radio Guiba’s Rafael Pfeiffer,Arsenal have reportedly sent representatives to Brazil to thrash out a deal for Gremio star Bitello.

The midfielder could be signed as the perfect partner for £105million signing Declan Rice, who is set to complete his blockbuster switch from West Ham.

Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu are keen to rejuvenate the club’s midfield despite coming ever so close to winning the Premier League title last season. Kai Havertz has already arrived and is likely to play in one of the advanced midfield positions, while Rice is also due to sign.
