Osimhen Considers Protective Arm Gear Ahead of Return

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is expected to wear protective gear on his arm when he returns to action after undergoing surgery.

The Nigerian forward suffered a fracture in his hand following a collision during a UEFA Champions League match.

The injury occurred during Galatasaray’s Round of 16 clash, forcing him to go off and seek immediate medical attention.

Osimhen has since undergone surgery, with his recovery expected to take about six weeks.

Reports indicate that he may need to use a special protective splint on his arm to support healing when he resumes playing.

The device is designed to limit movement, reduce pain, and prevent further injury while the bone recovers.

It will also allow him to return to action earlier than expected if his rehabilitation goes smoothly.

The striker is already known for wearing a protective face mask following a previous injury, which has become part of his identity on the pitch.

He could make his return in time for key matches later in the season, depending on his recovery progress.

This season, Osimhen has been in strong form, contributing goals and assists as Galatasaray push for success in domestic competitions.
