Sam Larry Says He Cannot Walk After Fatal Crash, Faces Wheelchair Recovery

Nigerian socialite and music promoter Samson Balogun, popularly known as Sam Larry, has spoken publicly for the first time since surviving a fatal road accident that claimed the life of his bouncer.

Speaking from his hospital bed, Sam Larry revealed that although doctors expect to discharge him soon, he is currently unable to walk and will have to rely on a wheelchair during his recovery.

The accident occurred along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, where the vehicle conveying Sam Larry and his bouncer reportedly collided with a trailer. While the socialite survived the crash, his bouncer died from injuries sustained in the accident.

In a video shared online, Sam Larry thanked God for sparing his life despite the severity of the crash.

He said his greatest challenge now is his inability to walk, adding that he does not know how long he will need to use a wheelchair before making a full recovery.

The music promoter also addressed the speculation that followed news of the accident, saying many people had spread false information and wished him harm.

According to him, only God knows the truth about his life, insisting that he remains innocent despite the criticism and negative comments directed at him.

The accident comes less than two years after Sam Larry survived another road crash, making it the second major traffic incident involving the socialite in recent years.

The latest development has generated mixed reactions on social media, with some fans wishing him a speedy recovery while others continued to reference the controversies that have surrounded him in recent years.
