The Nigerian Air Force has announced that candidates who passed its 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test have been shortlisted for the next stage of recruitment.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Air Force confirmed that those who made the list are to attend the Selection Board Interview for the Basic Military Training Course 46/2025.
The announcement was made by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, who said the names of successful applicants have been uploaded on the official recruitment portal.
According to the statement, the interview exercise will take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna, starting from April 27 and running through June 13, 2026.
Candidates were advised to check the portal carefully and report according to their assigned batch schedule.
The Air Force warned that failure to appear on the specified date would lead to automatic disqualification from the recruitment process.
It also stressed that the entire exercise is free, cautioning applicants against paying money to anyone claiming to influence the process.
Officials urged candidates to remain vigilant and rely only on official communication channels for updates.
The shortlisted candidates emerged from the aptitude test conducted in December 2025 across multiple centres nationwide.
Over 20,000 applicants reportedly took part in the screening exercise held in cities including Kaduna, Kano, Enugu, Port Harcourt and Ikeja.
The Air Force said the widespread locations were chosen to give equal opportunity to applicants from different parts of the country.
Ejodame noted that the recruitment process is guided by fairness and merit, with strict standards applied at every stage.
He added that selecting qualified candidates is essential to maintaining the operational strength and effectiveness of the service.
The interview stage is expected to further assess candidates before final admission into the training programme.
