The Director of Public Prosecutions of the Federation, Rotimi Iseoluwa Oyedepo, SAN, has extended Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslims across Nigeria, calling on citizens to promote peace, unity, and mutual understanding during the festive period.
In a goodwill message released to mark the celebration, Oyedepo congratulated Muslim faithful for witnessing another Eid-el-Kabir and described the season as a time for sacrifice, prayer, and reflection.
He urged Nigerians to use the occasion to strengthen relationships across religious and ethnic lines while promoting peaceful coexistence throughout the country.
According to him, the values of tolerance, compassion, and unity remain important to national growth and stability, especially at a time when the country faces different social and economic challenges.
The DPPF prayed for peace, good health, happiness, and divine blessings for Nigerians, expressing hope that the celebration would bring renewed hope and harmony to families and communities.
Oyedepo also prayed that Allah would accept the sacrifices and acts of worship observed during the season and reward faithful Muslims abundantly.
“Warm season greetings to all our Muslim brothers and sisters. As you celebrate this joyous occasion, may Allah accept your sacrifices, grant you peace, abundant blessings, divine favour, good health, and happiness in all your homes,” he said.
He further encouraged Nigerians to continue embracing love, understanding, and national unity regardless of religious or cultural differences.
“Barka da Sallah! Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones. May this season strengthen the bonds of unity, love, and harmony among us all,” he added.
The DPPF wished Muslims across the country a peaceful and memorable Eid-el-Kabir celebration filled with joy, prosperity, and renewed faith.
